Intergenerational campaigns for environmental health equity

Cat Owsik is a third-year PhD student studying how a sense of belonging relates to changing systems of power. She primarily applies quantitative psychology methods to issues of equity and sustainability. Cat and Nettie collected data on 140 environmental justice campaigns across the United States to examine which factors, if any, led to the success (i.e., policy changes, reparations) of such campaigns for the people of color and low-income communities disproportionately harmed by environmental projects.
