Civic Engagement Subcommittee

The Civic Engagement Subcommittee (CES), one of three subcommittees of the UVA Committee on Sustainability, works to expand and integrate sustainability actions and knowledge into all facets of the UVA community, both on- and off- Grounds. In collaboration with a wide representation of student, faculty, staff and community stakeholders, CES seeks to promote and advocate for policies and practices that build an inclusive, healthy, and equitable learning community, aligned with environmental principles including the UVA 2030 sustainability goals.
