The annual Hoos ReUse program allows students living both on and off Grounds to donate gently used items during move-out. Students are encouraged to donate clothing, furniture, electronics, non-perishable foods, and other useful items to benefit Charlottesville nonprofits. Some locations will have collection boxes called EDGARS. These boxes are metal containers similar to the image on the right. Other locations will have manned tents where individuals can drop-off donations directly to one of our many charities.
