Hoos ReUse, previously known as Chuck it for Charity, is an annual donation drive to allow students living both on and off Grounds to donate gently used items during move-out. As students finish up the year and move out of their residence halls or apartments, they can donate their unwanted (but usable) furniture, appliances, nonperishable food, and clothing to local charities through the Hoos ReUse program. Students living on Grounds are encouraged to donate clothing, furniture, electronics, non-perishable foods, and other useful items to benefit non-profits. On Grounds residents can donate items at drop off locations conveniently located near residence halls on Grounds from May 3-13th. Drop off locations will be posted in the next few weeks.
