Connect with local food producers, alums who work in food policy and food justice. Curious about solar energy at UVA? Will Evans (Power & Light) and Jesse Warren (UVA Sustainability) will give us a tour of the rooftop solar installation at Ruffner Hall - one of UVA's four major on-Grounds solar installations. We'll learn how the system works, why solar is great for our University, and what's next for UVA's clean energy future! We'll have signs posted & someone in the Ruffner Hall Lobby to direct you to the roof. It will be a quick visit, so please arrive no later than 2:30. This event is free & open to the public.
