Partners around Grounds rallied behind an effort to upgrade one of the University’s most energy-intensive buildings, reducing the building’s annual energy costs by 30%. 

 UVA’s award-winning Decarbonization Academy began its fifth summer last week. Over the course of the 8-week program, students will work with faculty and staff on various sustainability projects to advance UVA's sustainability goals.
