Sustainability Fellows

The University of Virginia's Office for Sustainability is seeking candidates for a new Sustainability Fellowship program! UVA Sustainability Fellowships are full-time, benefitted project management and support positions in UVA’s Office for Sustainability that focus on achievement of the University’s sustainability goals. These positions have a 12-month term limit (not eligible for renewal) and are designed to equip professionals interested in sustainability careers with relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and connections.

  • Fellowship term: June 3, 2024, though May 30, 2025
  • Seeking two fellows for this term (Zero Waste Fellow and Sustainable Healthcare Fellow)
  • Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree by start date of position
  • Compensation: $19/hour ($39,520 annually) with UVA benefits

Nitrogen Working Group Interns

The Nitrogen Working Group is looking for two new undergraduate interns to join our team during the Fall 24/Spring 25 academic year. These are paid positions at up to 10 hours per week during the academic year! One position is focused on analyzing food data and the second is focused on nitrogen footprint outreach.
