The Office of Sustainability and Facilities Management (FM) are collecting FM uniforms to be recycled into new clothing, dog bedding or attic insulation.

UVA Awarded Half a Million Dollar DEQ Grant to Reduce Food Waste

The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality has selected UVA to receive a half-million-dollar grant through the EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program. This funding will directly support the University's comprehensive initiatives in food waste prevention, food rescue, and expanded composting.
